About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager for Solar Projects in Texas, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our solar energy initiatives within the state. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, fostering key partnerships, and expanding our presence in the Texas solar market.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the Texas solar market. Analyze competitive landscape and industry dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Business Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets. Identify, prospect, and engage with potential clients, including utilities, commercial entities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including solar developers, EPC contractors, financiers, regulators, and local communities. Collaborate closely with partners to leverage synergies and maximize project success.

  • Project Identification: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize solar project opportunities across Texas. Assess feasibility, financial viability, and regulatory requirements of potential projects. Coordinate with internal teams to assess technical feasibility and develop project proposals.



Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  2. Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales roles within the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar projects.

  3. Deep understanding of the Texas energy market, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and key players.

  4. Strong network of contacts within the Texas solar industry, including developers, investors, utilities, and policymakers.
