About the Role
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of all systems and equipment in strict accordance with relevant documentation.
- Carry out commissioning activities following established procedures.
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve WTG commissioning issues.
- Investigate problems, diagnose faults, and implement appropriate repairs.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic AC/DC electrical circuits and possess the ability to troubleshoot and conduct circuit analysis.
Requirements
- Holds A-Grade electrical license
- >3 years wind or commissioning experience
- HV operator certification and RIC.
- Experience working in wind project site construction environments with multinational teams and subcontractor workforces.
- Ability to effectively manage quality assurance and environmental processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of wind turbine industry specifications, design, maintenance, construction, and commissioning practices.
- Network and SCADA experience.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel for work assignments.
- Ability to manage physical tasks involving climbing, crawling, squatting, and other physical movements.
- Comfort working at heights.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and unsupervised, as well as effectively collaborate within a team environment.
- Proven ability to lead and work within a team and contractors' environment.
- Commissioning experience, including troubleshooting ELV, LV, and HV systems.
- Basic rigging/dogman and EWP certifications are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Daily rate plus penalties, 3:1 rotation, 6 days full pay for 5.5 days work plus daily living away from home allowance
