Their platform is built in Ruby on Rails and hosted on AWS, and we are looking for someone to join the team to help develop it further. Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with expertise in Rails and AWS who will be able to hit the ground running in delivering features and also will be able to help us evolve our platform for scale. You will also have an opportunity to contribute to our mobile app written in React Native. Remember our value on Customer Focus above? We want to see empathy for the driver and their experience along the way too.
Whilst this role has a technical element we hope you can come into the team as a 2iC/ Tech Lead to help assist the further growth of the team and product.

We're looking for lead engineers, rather than coders. We are big believers in a pragmatic and agile approach to software development. You will be participating in team rituals including stand-ups, retrospectives, occasional pair-programming. We are based in Melbourne, so you will be working in our office in the city. Having said that, due to Covid-19 our team has been working remotely since the start of the pandemic and we expect to continue to operate in this way for the foreseeable future. Final home/office work balance yet to be decided, however we acknowledge it will be flexible.
