NextWave Partners is currently partnering with a leading IPP and Developer of renewable energy generation assets in their search for a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer.

This well-established player has a strong presence across the APAC region, and this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the growth of a priority and high potential market.

This role will be working alongside a small technical team focusing on development and construction projects, with the main focus on projects that are pre-financial close.

They currently have a number of projects in late-stage development and an exciting pipeline of opportunities in early stages across solar, battery storage and are also looking at on and offshore wind, hydrogen, and other emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Project manage the development phase with various stakeholders including consultancies, EPC providers, OEMs.
• Carrying out initial investigations on project sites.
• A good understanding of substation and primary and secondary plant design.
• Responsible for reviewing preliminary designs and updating technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Around 3-6 years experience with a consultancy/EPC/developer but open to more experienced individuals.
• Proficiency with PVsyst and AutoCAD preferred.
• Bachelor of Engineering or Science majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders to hit delivery timelines.
