NextWave Partners is working with a global offshore wind developer Vineyard Wind is looking for a strong project planner to participate in the construction of the first large scale offshore windfarm in North America. The Project Planner will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the detailed project schedules for the sub-packages. The planner will work with the sub-packages and contractors to secure a proactive approach to planning and executing of the project.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing detailed project plans
• Continuously carrying out progress updates of activities and resource demands on the project
• Communicating and reporting project progress, performance and forecasts to the Senior Management and the Board
• Ensuring alignment and coordination of milestones along with the project package and contractor schedules
• Facilitating scenario analysis
• Supporting Package Managers in concept selection and decision making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Previous experience speaking with senior stakeholders
• Project management training eg. PMP
• Extensive experience in the use of Primavera is required
