About:

The position is a full-time position and is classified as Director Level. The role will be managing land
brokers and land owners to identify suitable land for energy storage projects in Japan and work on
land requirements and related permits of development projects.

Site Identification: potential locations for battery storage facilities, considering factors like proximity to power sources, grid infrastructure, and environmental suitability.

Negotiation: Negotiate with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to secure land leases or purchases for battery storage projects, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulations.

Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective sites, assessing legal, environmental, and technical aspects to mitigate risks and ensure project feasibility.

Permitting and Compliance: Manage the permitting process, obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, zoning laws, and environmental standards.

Stakeholder Management: Liaise with local communities, government authorities, utilities, and other relevant stakeholders to address concerns, build support, and facilitate project acceptance.

Land Use Planning: Collaborate with engineers, planners, and architects to optimize site layout and design, maximizing efficiency and minimizing environmental impact.

Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets for land acquisition activities, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of land transactions, permits, and regulatory approvals, and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
