Regional Sales Manager - Shipping & Freight (APAC)

We are representing a leading international shipping company seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive market development and cargo solicitation across Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Japan. This role focuses on developing targeted sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and achieving regional freight volume and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies for the SEA freight markets.

• Conduct market research on APAC freight trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

• Identify and engage potential customers, including developers, EPCs, shipowners, and freight forwarders.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industry players.

• Provide tailored transportation solutions, coordinate logistics, and ensure smooth project execution.

• Deliver regular sales reports and market updates to management.

• Navigate cultural business practices in Korea and Japan, ensuring alignment between HQ and local teams.

Requirements:

• Proficient in English, Chinese with strong business etiquette.

• 3+ years' experience in freight sales or shipping in the APAC region.

• Familiar with freight market regulations, port operations, and logistics networks.

• Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• Willing to travel and work across Southeast Asia; resilient and a strong team player.
