1. Set up objectives, strategies and plans for food safety department in alignment with both global and local business and compliance directions.
2. Organizational building, people development & talent ladder development, build a high-performance team with clear direction and KPIs.
3. Strengthen the company food safety culture via strategic programs/activities.
4. Provide inputs to formulate food safety strategy based on risk assessment. Develop and manage food safety programs to execute strategies in:

• Product Design Hazard Analysis (PDHA), Food Fraud, Allergen, etc.
• Food specification and label review, food product recall and withdrawal
• Supplier audits and Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions
• Store Food Safety operations and store made products management
• Food Testing and training

5. Partner with GIC/EOC on food safety crisis/exception management and provides food safety inputs on item withdraw/recall decision. Develop new processes/tools to manage risks in a more effective and efficient way.
6. Drive cross functional Role & Responsibility alignment, process/data streamline to increase productivity.
7. Drive the tech alignment to build the automation solutions in supporting the food safety enhancement.
8. Monitor and conduct analysis of emerging regulations jointly with legal and Corporate Affairs, and implement food safety plans to ensure compliance;
9. Partnership with corporate affairs on external engagement and reshape the requirements of food safety related regulations.
10. Provide reports and scorecards and coordinate with Compliance functions for synergy.
