As part of their aggressive expansion, they are looking to bring in a Financial Analyst to support the team. This person will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of financial group reports and compliance with the accounting guidelines within the company, also being a strong business partner for colleagues across the globe and other stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

• Financial reports
  • Monthly and yearly consolidation of the group’s financial data
  • Preparing timely and accurate group’s financial reports on a monthly basis
  • Presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members
  • Ensure quality control over financial reporting
• Business partner
  • Providing pro-active advice and helpful feedback to colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Taking a stand if needed
  • Participate in special projects as required
• Accounting guidelines
  • Coordinate, develop and update internal accounting policies and guidelines
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Reporting process/system
  • Suggest updates and improvements for financial reporting system
  • Managing and maintaining the financial reporting process 
  • Perform continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period
• Tax accounting
  • Ensure reliable reporting with respect to (global) current and deferred corporate income tax positions

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant overall combined accounting and finance experience (of which a few dedicated years in financial consolidation) within a multinational environment
• CPA/RA/ACCA (or comparable certification) preferred
• Corporate governance experience
• Strong finance reporting and analytical skills
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures 
• Good knowledge of general tax concepts and tax accounting
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
