NextWave Partners is working with a newly established infrastructure fund who is expanding their team in Singapore and looking for someone to manage its financial operations in the region. 

 

• Managing third-party service providers in preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Review for accuracy the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded into the ledgers by third-party service providers
• Managing third-party service providers in preparation of tax submission to IRAS
• Collecting and analysing data, for quarterly reporting to limited partners
• Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
• Managing third-party service providers in preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
• Managing the statutory audit of year end accounts
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Assist the COO in other task as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in Accounting
• Prior experience in a public accounting firm is desirable
• Self-starter with strong commercial and business acumen
• Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiator who can develop ongoing working relationships with third-party service providers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposes
• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA or ACCA
