NextWave Partners is working with a solar project developer who is looking for someone to head up its procurement team to be based in either Singapore or US. 

The key responsibilities include

• Responsible for providing overall management of vender pricing and delivery schedule for all components of the solar systems, the contractor identification, the budgetary and bidding RFP, the negotiation and the contracting activities for utility-scale Solar Parks and Substations across Asia. 
• Will work jointly with the EPC VP, design engineers, project managers and finance teams. 
• The candidate must have experience managing procurement for large scale solar construction projects, ideally in Asia.
• Must be able to identify potential contractors for all phases of the project as well as, subsequently review and select contractors.
• Manage contractor during all phases of the project.

Education/Experience 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years’ related experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ procurement/contract experience with solar projects, preferably with Asia experience.
