About the Role

NextWave Partners are working with one of the top IoT company which focuses on providing solutions for sustainability. They are expanding their team and they are on a look out for a Software Engineer (Backend).

Responsibilities

• Design, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing testable, scalable and efficient code
• Test and debug new applications and updates
• Maintain up to date code documentation
• Participating in code reviews

Requirements

• Work experience in Java Technologies
• Experience in Java and understanding of framework such as I/O and multithreading.
• Expertise in JVM principles and Java Web Development technologies: Spring, MyBatis, JMS, REST WebService etc
• Familiarity in distributed system such as Hadoop, Spark, Zookeeper, Kafka etc
• Experience in database-related technology such as Mysql/ Redis/ Mongodb/ HBase/ ElasticSearch/ HDFS.
