We are working with an exciting Social Tech App that is rapidly growing in user acquisition. As such, they need a great mobile developer to join the team and help with designing their mobile applications to handle the new features and load. You’ll be working on newest technologies within a highly autonomous and test driven environment. Being a senior on the team, you’ll be required to drive engineering quality as well as practices to ensure that the product built is top notch.
 
Role and Responsibilities
  • Build and design a highly scalable and feature-rich mobile application for up to millions of consumers and users of your app
  • Work with ReSTful/JSON services to power your applications
  • Thrive in a start up environment, with the ability to propose your own changes and drive these critical ideas through to leadership
  • Strong experience with consumer applications and deep dive into technical aspects to optimize the application
  • Work with UI/UX designers to ensure the app is user friendly and communicate across various teams
  • Be able to mentor junior members of the team
Skills and Requirements 
  • Holding at least 4 years of work experience, ideally all of it working on iOS development
  • At least one project on refractoring
  • Be able to build applications using MVC, MVVM, and functional programming
  • Strong experience in Swift and RxSwift 
  • Able to interact between the webservices, APIs, JSON and async processes
  • Know an application life cycle and be able to understand the different concerns with iOS design patterns
  • Have a strong understanding of user-centric design to ensure the application is optimal
  • Creative and problem solving mindset to troubleshoot whenever required
  • Ability to stick with timelines and ensure delivery of products
