About the role

We are partnering with a product company to look for a talented and passionate AI Research Engineer to join their innovative development team in Singapore. You'll be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and deploying GPU-accelerated AI/ML algorithms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their products.


Roles and responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in computer vision, vision transformers, large language, and diffusion-based generative models for real-world applications, including video editing.
• Design and prototype new architectures, algorithms, and training methods.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate AI/ML algorithms into production systems.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and apply them to projects.
• Experiment and evaluate algorithms and models using modern ML frameworks and advanced compute infrastructure (GPU/TPU).

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Math, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in at least one of these:
• Large Language Models (e.g., GPT-style transformer architectures)
• Vision Transformers (e.g., ViT, DeiT, Swin)
• Diffusion Models (e.g., Stable Diffusion, DDPM, DALL·E 2, Imagen)
• Strong publication record in top AI/ML venues.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Excellent problem-solving, independent, and collaborative skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with image processing, computer vision, and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with various deep learning and neural network architectures.
• Experience with cross-modal learning (e.g., CLIP).
