About the Role

NextWave have been appointed by a leading offshore wind developer to help build out their offshore wind business in Korea. They are putting together the core members of their team and are looking for an experienced Senior Foundations Engineer to work on the development and delivery of a portfolio of offshore wind projects in the country.

Responsibilities

• Supporting project milestone meetings with both the internal team and external stakeholders
• Supporting the planning and execution of the package
• Managing the schedule and budget of the package during the project
• Working closely with the EPC Contractor during the execution phase of the project
• Working on the tender and negotiation process for the relevant contracts on the project
• Reporting project progress back to management team
• Managing the communication between contractors and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Minimum of ten [10] years of experience in the offshore engineering sector.
• Due to the location of the role, prior experience in Korea would be preferred
• Due to project interface responsibilities, communication skills in written and spoken Korean and English are key
