Work on a team that specifically looks after the exciting topic of Fraud and Risk to make sure users of the app are adhering to legal rules. You’ll be able to build Big Data pipelines to make sure the flow of data points are ready to be analyzed by the rest of the team.

Responsibilities

• Be able to pipeline and ensure the flow of data points are reaching the relevant areas to analyze various products
• Work with a diverse team of data scientists, engineers and product managers to understand the business problems for your stakeholders
• Have a problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced product environment where product cycles can vary in length
• Work on Big Data tools like Spark and Flink as well as Cloud platforms to ensure a high volume of traffic in data flows through smoothly
• Have strong communication abilities to work with a regional team

Requirements

• Minimally holding a Bachelors in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related fields
• Holding at least 5 years of work experience in data engineering where you’ve had to build pipelines on Big Data platforms or running real-time engines
• Proficient in Golang or java
• Big Data exposure on tools such as Spark, Flink, Hadoop and Beam
• Ability to query on SQL and no SQL databases
• Cloud exposure, preferably on Google Cloud or AWS
• DevOps and micro-service experience using tools such as Kubernetes is a great bonus
• Prior experience on fraud-related projects are very good to have
• Flexibility to travel around Asia for work
