About the Role:

  • The Contract Manager will work within the commercial team and may be assigned to a project or package team, depending on business requirements.
  • The role is responsible for executing and managing procurement activities, including pre- and post-award contract management, as well as commercial activities such as budget and cost forecasting and control.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong commercial awareness, solid contractual knowledge, and excellent persuasion, negotiation, and judgment skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical team through procurement and delivery of designated project packages.
  • Assist the project commercial lead in ensuring compliance with all project commercial and localisation requirements.
  • Oversee the tender process, including development of tender packages, clarifications, evaluations (contractual, commercial, technical, and localisation).
  • Analyse contract requirements and provisions, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all contracts are approved and executed in line with company and project governance protocols.
  • Perform contract administration and management duties, including handling amendments, variations, KPIs, and reviewing and approving payment applications.

Qualifications:

  • Degree-qualified in commercial management, engineering, quantity surveying, business, or law, with at least 5-10 years' relevant experience in contract or commercial roles.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and contract management, ex FIDIC, BIMCO, and LOGIC contracts
  • Offshore wind experience strongly preferred (floating foundations, substations, or subsea cables); equivalent offshore construction experience may be considered.
  • Strong commercial awareness, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
