Description: NextWave Partners is working with a leading business in the technology sector. They are seeking for a backend engineer to join their mission towards sustainable practices. In this role, the individual will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of the software application. The will be in Kotlin and Java.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
2. Improve software quality using Scrum practices, including code review and unit testing.
3. Collaborate with QE, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to contribute to project success.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
2. At least three years of professional experience in a software engineer or equivalent position.
3. Familiarity with cloud-native technology and architecture.
4. Proficient in Clean Code, Design Patterns, and Unit Testing.
5. Knowledge and experience in Kotlin, Spring Boot Framework, and Spring Cloud are advantageous.
6. Working experience in Agile and UX development environments is a plus.
7. Strong presentation and listening skills.
