Location: Hong Kong SAR

Duration of Contract: 3 months to start, to be extended on good performance

We are working with an exciting European Data / MarTech Product company that needs someone to work for a new project initiative based in Hong Kong. If you have a passion for software products and want to help implement these for an enterprise client then this is company for you. Work with a highly technical team of engineers in Europe, a global business team and be heading up the project in Hong Kong as you roll out a great product for an enterprise client in the financial / insurance services.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the client and be a representative of the European Data Product, managing a key account and supporting the growth of that business
• Understand the project requirements and manage it end to end, being able to draw up goals and deliverables in collaboration with the team, management and the customer
• Be able to consult with the client and understand what they need for their project, identifying the dependencies and developing a project plan
• Work with the engineers in implementing a Cloud solution to help them tap into their infinite amounts of data
• Determine what resources are needed to solution for the project and draft out budget proposals with these in mind
• Communicate the status of the project effectively, with all stakeholders
• Speak to local stakeholders, while being the liaison with the global tech team, thus managing multi-disciplinary teams and being able to answer both business and operational questions.

Requirements

• Holding 10+ years of experience in consulting and/or financial services. Working with technical products and data analysis.
• Ideally at least 3 years working in a Technical product company
• Prior exposure to MarTech product
• Have consulting sales experience in Hong Kong ideally, having won over a project with follow up on the major account
• Strong knowledge of the financial industry
• Good understanding of Big Data concepts, where usage of Hadoop and BI tools are a great bonus
• Fluent English to communicate with global team
• Hong Kong Citizen, with local language ability
