About the Role

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to play a key role in planning, managing, and executing Solar and BESS projects from inception to completion.

Within the project team, you will act as the subject matter expect for Solar & BESS EPC queries, while working closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management of solar initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government authorities, suppliers, and contractors, to facilitate smooth project progression and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in solar energy projects, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK solar energy landscape, including regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Degree in engineering, project management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
