About the Role

We are working with a growing start-up ESG Software company is looking for a ESG Research Analyst to join their team to understand the needs of companies' sustainability issues and to provide sustainability-related solutions to clients

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and collect relevant ESG data from a variety of sources, including company reports, regulatory filings, sustainability databases, and third-party providers.
• Analyze and interpret the data to assess companies' ESG performance and identify key trends and risks.
• Stay informed about the latest ESG trends, industry best practices, and evolving regulatory developments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ESG reporting requirements and frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD. Work with the compliance team to meet regulatory obligations related to ESG disclosures.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Climate Science, or a related discipline is required.
• 3-6+ years of experience in ESG research and analysis, preferably from tech industries
• Solid understanding of ESG frameworks, ratings agencies, and reporting standards.
• Familiarity with sustainable investing practices and their impact on financial performance.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
