Position: Senior Project Development - Wind Project

Job Descriptions

One of our clients, a leading developer specializing in wind energy ; they have developed 9 GW renewable energy project in Solar, BESS and Wind globally, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a crucial role in identifying, acquiring, and securing wind energy projects to financial close The successful candidate will have a proven track record in initiating and successfully completing Wind projects.

Key Responsibilities

Site Selection: Identify optimal greenfield sites based on wind resource assessment and environmental considerations.

Feasibility Analysis: Conduct thorough financial modeling and risk assessments to validate the economic viability of the wind project.

Stakeholder Engagement:Build strong relationships with local communities, landowners, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.

Permitting and Compliance:Navigate the regulatory landscape to obtain necessary permits for environmental impact, land use, and construction.

Project Planning and Design:Collaborate with engineering teams to finalize project specifications and create a comprehensive plan, including timelines and budgets.

Financial Closure:Secure financing through negotiations with investors and financial institutions to achieve the necessary financial closure.

Transition to Implementation:Ensure a smooth transition from the development phase to project implementation with careful monitoring of milestones.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

Proven experience in initiating and managing Wind projects, with a demonstrated track record of project completion.

Strong understanding of renewable energy project development, including knowledge of Wind technologies.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis.
