Title: Senior Data Scientist (Recommendation)

Location: Singapore

About the Role

• Established data team
• Strongly backed and established startup
• Projects across Search and Recommendation

Responsibilities

• End to end involvement on projects from requirements gathering, designing and developing machine learning models to deployment on Cloud
  • Build recommendation, forecasting, search, optimization, NLP models and machine learning algorithms
• Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Product Managers, Engineers, Developers to develop, support, and improve on a scalable product
• Translate business objectives to technical problems and provide solutions to the business

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar field
• Minimum four (4) year's working experience with both Recommendation and NLP specific machine learning projects
• Experience with deployment on Cloud is preferred
• Hands on working experience with technological languages and tools: Python, SQL, Data visualization tools
• Industry experience within the eCommerce or Product space is preferred
• Proven ability to be an effective communicator, able to convince and align with stakeholders across the business
