Our client is a PaaS cloud communications provider from the US.

They are seeking a Sales / Solutions Director who will be tasked in working with SEs, AEs, and the GTM team. This position is crucial for the continued success of the business in APJ. This individual will need to construct the processes involved in how the AE and SE teams collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales leadership in developing our strategy for identifying, and closing new opportunities
• Developing and maintaining relationships with the technical leads of our SI partners and determining how we can best collaborate resulting in the continued success
• Engage with Marketing, Product, Support, Expert Services, Operations, Legal, Security, and Engineering to make your customers successful on our platform
• Build and roll out programs that facilitate scaling, and have a global impact
• Identify, recruit and develop SE’s, and ensuring that they continue on an upward trajectory
• Determine the role that sales engineers should play in closing new business opportunties, and how to deploy the existing resources most effectively.
• Measure and communicate results
• Provide the support to your team as a whole, through necessary mentoring and coaching

Requirements

• Experience within enterprise sales
• Comfortable in creating dialogue with customer CTOs and technical leaders
• Hands-on approach to problem solving
• Experience of managing AE’s and SE’s
• Experience building programs that have impact and reach across teams
• Excellent communicator across varying cultures
• Willing to travel 50% of the time
• Coding experience
• Experience with the following:
  • Contact Centers
  • IP-based telephony
  • Messaging
  • Real-time communications
  • Building web or mobile applications
• Fluency in one or more Asian languages a plus
