This individual is required to build and oversee a sales team. This position is also in charge of business and channel development resulting in growth in the specific region.
Responsibilities
- Hitting sales targets in the given time frame across market segments
- Drive growth in the territory assigned
- Using Salesforce and tableau as the sales management tools, and to advocate and promote its use with the Sales Managers along with the other divisions of the business (where applicable)
- Providing timely and accurate business forecasts to sales and executive level management
- Using our daily cadences in building and in leading a sales organization in hiring, training and development
- Provide guidance in managing and maintaining the region’s customers, with the aid of the sales team
- Hunt for and maintain the relationships for current and new channel partners to ensure continued scalability in a Channel Initiated business within the region
- Collaborate with other teams in marketing, product, human resource, support, sales engineering and finance operations to execute on plans that drive incremental business
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate a sales organization to ensure both short and long term goals, objectives and quotas
- Understand and analyse sales numbers and manage to daily sales metrics
- Able to make daily adjustments to maintain deal velocity and momentum
- Able to understand and communicate business concepts
- Able to adapt to changing business issues and requirements
- At least 5 years in a quota carrying sales role with demonstrated achievement
- At least 3 years sales management experience
- Able to lead, motivate and execute with a team of inside, channels, direct sales resources
- Able to recruit, train and up-scale against aggressive growth targets
