About the Role

A fast growing IoT Product company with a mission to solve sustainability challenges, is looking for a Product Manager for Robotics Product Development and Operations. This position will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle and will be working with cross-functional teams. Candidate should ideally have a combination of business insight, deep understanding of SaaS-based software and proven experience in agile-driven product management.

Responsibilities

  • Define smart robotics product strategy, roadmap and features spanning end-to-end between robot edge compute, cloud servers and front-end user interfaces
  • Understand and translate business and application needs from clients into technical requirement
  • Work closely with domain SMEs, UX and software engineering teams to develop prototypes based on cutting edge research and evaluate utility to solve deployment problems
  • Providing technical solution support and product promotion as presales activity
  • Be up to date with relevant technologies and understand trends and opportunities to ensure optimal solutions

Requirements and Skills

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying robotics software applications
  • Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) and Robotics Middleware Framework (RMF) is a must
  • Experience in Python and C++ (or similar compiled language)
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Experience working in back-end frameworks like NodeJS or Flask
  • Familiarity with machine learning, computer vision, motion planning and sensor-based localisation algorithms is a plus
  • Experience working with both MySQL & NoSQL Databases, CI/CD tools like Dockers, Jenkins is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and capability to present technological concepts coherently to the business and innovation process
