About the Role
Client is a renewables IPP that focuses on the development of solar+bess projects across the US.
This position will be responsible for continuously monitoring, analyzing, comprehending, and summarizing the dynamics of the energy market. This includes aspects such as regulatory, policy, legislative, technical, financial, emerging technologies, and competitiveness. The purpose is to gather insights that can inform, improve, and optimize the strategy and planning for project development.

Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive evaluation of the competitive environment by identifying major participants, analyzing their approaches, and recognizing potential opportunities or risks in both the immediate and long-term.
Consistently produce comprehensive reports and presentations that not only present market intelligence findings but also explore their implications for the company, offering potential strategic adjustments or initiatives.
Take proactive measures to identify potential risks present in the market landscape by conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and offer well-researched recommendations to effectively navigate and mitigate them.

Requirements
3+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector in regulatory affairs, business insights or market intelligence.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the regulatory and legislative landscape pertaining to the renewable energy sector.
Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and connect market insights to actionable business strategies and operational planning.
