We are looking for a Regional Smart Solutions Lead, with expertise in data system historian platform to integrate historian with the cloud technologies. You will be the Champion and go-to person, leading at the forefront for technical delivery and supporting pre-sales for the deployment of the Industrial 3.0 and 4.0 initiatives. The lead is also empowered to select vendors and manage partners for the delivery phase.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for deployment of Industrial IoT solutions in industrial plants in one of more of the following fields:
• Connectivity to industrial systems on common protocols
• Edge connectivity and computing
• Hybrid deployment of on-premise + cloud solution
• Support technical and network architecture for solutions
• Provides technical support to pre-sales team in sales pursuit
• Provides site deployment of solution within the APAC region (EU and US on ad-hoc basis)
• Provides proper project and engineering documentations
• Provides technical hands-on training session to external customers

Requirements

• At least a Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial connectivity experience especially with data system historian
• Strong experience in common industrial communications protocols (OPC DA, OPC UA, Modbus DNP3, etc)
• Knowledge in networking setups (DNS, DHCP, Firewall, Gateways, Routers)
• Familiar with at least real-time information system and historian software like OSIsoft PI System, Wonderware System Platform, AspenTech IP21, Honeywell PhD, etc
• Experience in technical solutioning in Plant Information Management System (PIMS)
• Good to have OT or IT Security experience
• Knowledge of PaaS, SaaS and IaaS is a plus
• Knowledge of IoT platforms and Industry 4.) concepts are a plus
• Knowledge of system engineering (high availability, back-up, restore, migration) is a plus
