My client is a leading organisation within the project development and construction of Offshore Wind projects globally. They are looking to hire an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a new Offshore Wind Project they have in Taiwan.

Role & Responsibilities;

• Establishing the Project Company from scratch, including team structure and project management team
• Working with the EPC Installation Manager and package managers on a daily basis
• Managing the project budget and schedule, ensuring each milestone is hit on time and within budget
• Developing and implementing a procurement strategy, negotiating with key suppliers and sub contractors
• Reviewing and approving the key deliverables from the teams within the project
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s internal quality standards
• Ensuring that the project complies with internal and external HSE requirements
• Managing dialogue with key project stakeholders
• Preparing and presenting project progress reports to the board

Requirements / Qualifications

• MSc Degree in Engineering
• Experience delivering a large Offshore Wind project
• Strong understanding of corporate finance activities
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to relocate full time to Taiwan
