Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 + bonus

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Civil Engineer to lead and manage civil engineering aspects of our data center projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity, functionality, and efficiency of our data center facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and detailed design documents to ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements.

* Oversee site assessments, geotechnical investigations, and environmental impact studies to inform project planning and design.

* Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and cohesive project delivery.

* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project safety and sustainability.

* Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, making adjustments as necessary to achieve project objectives.

* Ensure that construction activities comply with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

* Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and project updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

* Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on data center or similar mission-critical infrastructure projects.

* Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.

* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineering.

* Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
