About the role

NextWave Partners are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Onshore Package Manager to play pivotal role in the successful development and execution of onshore substation and associated interfaces for an offshore wind project in Taiwan. This position involves overseeing all aspects of onshore packages, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans for onshore packages, considering scope, budget, and schedule.

  • Coordinate and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.

  • Identify, select, and manage vendors and contractors for onshore substation equipment and construction. Ensure the vendors and contractors adhere to project specifications and quality standards.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control. Identify and implement cost-saving measures when possible.

  • Ensure that onshore package complies with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

  • Implement quality control processes to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Identify potential risks and issues in the onshore substation packages and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.

  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in the renewable energy or offshore wind industry.

  • Strong knowledge of onshore substation/package equipment and systems.

  • Familiarity with local regulations and standards for wind energy projects in Taiwan would be a plus.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
