About the Role

NextWave are working with a leading offshore wind developer who are looking to hire an experienced O&M Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of their offshore substation package on a key project in Taiwan.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the O&M strategy for OSS Transmission Assets and OSS HV/MV/LV Electrical Equipment, including auxiliary equipment and OSS structure.

• Plan and manage all O&M activities related to OSS Transmission Assets and OSS HV/MV/LV Electrical Equipment.

• Lead and supervise technical teams, ensuring their safety, well-being, and compliance with guidelines and procedures.

• Develop and approve the periodic OSS maintenance plan.

• Plan and execute a training plan for the technical teams

• Identify project risks, propose mitigating measures, and monitor them continuously.

• Develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, and service providers to maximize performance.

• Ensure health, safety, and environmental performance complies with the site HSE plan

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing the maintenance of an offshore substation

• Prior experience working on an offshore wind project is preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering

• Fluency English is essential due to both internal and external stakeholder relationship management duties
