About the Role

We are partnering with an innovative startup offering state-of-the-art vertical solutions for Chemical R&D. As their team continues to grow, they are currently seeking a talented Material Science Engineer based in Japan.

Responsibilities

• Apply materials science expertise to analyze the properties and interactions of various ingredients and their effects on material performance.
• Conduct research and experimentation to validate and refine predictive models, ensuring accuracy and reliability in predicting material properties.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate predictive models into the materials platform, aiding clients in informed materials selection and formulation decisions.
• Work with the AI team to develop predictive models and algorithms for optimizing ingredient combinations in polymer materials, using data from the materials platform.
• Provide technical support and expertise to clients in understanding and utilizing the platform's capabilities for materials design and optimization.
• Partner with clients to understand their specific requirements and challenges, customizing predictive models and solutions to meet their needs.
