NextWave are working with a leading developer of offshore wind projects worldwide. As a result of their growth in the APAC region, they are looking to hire a Legal Counsel to help with the development of a new project they have in Taiwan.

Responsibilities

• Performing various tasks related to legal matters in the company
• Providing advice and guidance on legal matters related to the project
• Drafting, reviewing and revising documents for, and related contracts, construction related contracts, service agreements with vendors, legal letters, NDAs and more
• Reviewing contracts and legal documents regularly
• Assisting with documenting and negotiating the project financing documents
• Keeping up to date with the regulatory landscape in the Taiwanese offshore wind market
• Helping the project teams to obtain key permits
• Working with the development and project finance team on a daily basis

Requirements

• Must be an overseas bar-qualified lawyer
• Minimum of 5 years’ of legal training/experience
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin
• Previous experience working on the development of a large infrastructure project in Taiwan
