Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists to develop, maintain, and improve existing core NLP models
• Work closely with senior stakeholders
• Collaborate with third party institutions
• Conduct research focused on natural language processing and machine learning
• Mentor and coach junior data scientists
• Develop prototypes for high impact NLP and Machine Learning projects

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s degree / PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar
• Minimum five (5) years working experience in data science and machine learning.
• Strong experience in software development languages (Python, Java, C++)
• Working experience with AI – NLP methodologies and tools such as:
• Transfer Learning for NLP (BERT, ELMo, ULMFiT)
• NLP Frameworks (Fast.ai, genism, spaCy)
• Machine Learning Frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
• Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) and their variants such as LSTM
• Word embedding methods
• NLP Pipelines and tasks
• Understanding of data structures, database systems, algorithms, web architecture, and services
