Work with a leading brand in Singapore within the maritime industry to help implement IT strategy and lead a team of IT specialists. 

Work across applications and infrastructure initiatives helping to guide the IT systems across the business. Be able to work with IT vendors and senior management to help implement the IT structures within various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior management and partner companies to develop IT systems, working on the applications first hand and developing the infrastructure
  • Wide knowledge base of IT, with ability to plan, develop and manage innovative IT solutions that align with the business objectives
  • Manage delivery of systems across various schedules and monitor the progress closely, while guiding junior members of the team to delivery
  • Ensure there are enough resources allocated to each project and manage them to enable the best work flow
  • Facilitate in testing for user acceptance tests while working closely with leadership teams and business owners before projects go-live
  • Be able to meet system development requirements and deliver projects to a high level of quality that is on time and within the budget to spend
  • Manage relationships across hardware, software and networking services to ensure that company objectives are met through using IT applications

Requirements

  • Holding a Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering degree
  • Minimally 7 years of experience in IT management work, having led projects before across various departments and services
  • Prior experience managing small teams and direct reports
  • Experience with applications and building these across IT systems
  • Working with networks and security principles
  • Prior work and experience on data protection to foster the right type of data policies across various departments with senior stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge in IT systems with the ability to work across vendor management, procurement and system / software development
  • Experienced in using SAP ecosystem
  • Prior work with Linux Windows Servers
  • Good communication and analytical skills
