About the Role

NextWave are working with a leading organisation who develop, own and operate Renewable Energy projects globally. Due to recent strategic growth, they are looking to hire a Head of Offshore Wind to lead the growth of this business unit and turn the company into one of the leading players in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Management of existing projects including the project programme and budget responsibilities

• Taking the lead on project stakeholder activities including liaising with the planning authorities and off-takers

• Managing all contractors and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of each project

• Identifying new projects for the organisation and subsequently taking the lead on the end to end development on each

• Working closely with project teams to ensure they are hitting the project milestones successfully

• Contributing heavily to the long term strategy of the business unit

• Working closely with internal stakeholders to cross collaborate when necessary

• Regular reporting to the CEO of the business

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Engineering would be preferred

• Due to the location of the role, prior experience in Asia would be preferred but not required

• Due to the regional scope of the role, fluency in English is key

• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience delivering offshore wind projects from development to completion

• Strong leadership and communication skills
