We are looking for a Head of IT Development for a AI Tech Company to lead the team of technology talents along with vendors and contractors management.

You will be leading at the forefront for technology development to ensure continuous improvement and successful implementation of the AI solutions. 

Provide technical input and advisory to external clients and driving tech direction for the internal team. You will be the go-to-person to ensure a scalable platform to meet the requirements of the business and customers.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and development, management, implementation and roll out of application
• Providing guidance to ensure the overall architecture and solutions are very well designed for the long-term while also driving a pragmatic approach to deliver results in phases that is aligned with business value
• Manage the architecture, and regular status reporting process
• Manage and execute projects and delivery commitments, and develop our technology development strategy and roadmap.
• Be the Scrum Master - Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams within a Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT / Computer Science / Computing or related field
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience as technology lead
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading the technology team
• Excellent architecture skills
• Experience in insurance and/or wealth management domain
• Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), good troubleshooting skills to isolate and identify the root cause of issues
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to fit into startup dynamic enviornments
