Location: Based in Singapore

Role Overview

As the HR Director, your role involves the comprehensive management of all HR functions across the organization. This encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, and employee relations. Reporting to the CEO directly, you will be the pillar to set the standards for the HR department and drive the team to excel.

Key responsibilities

  1. Senior Stakeholder Management, HR Business Partnering
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted HR advisor, and providing guidance on various people-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution.
  2. Employee Engagement & Talent Management
    • Review and approve all recruitment activities, ensuring alignment with the company's evolving needs and objectives. Evaluate, develop, and strategize training and development policies to enhance employee skills and capabilities, ensuring their effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with organizational goals and market trends. Administer the HR budget meticulously, allocating resources for various HR activities and conducting compensation and benefits reviews to maintain competitiveness in the job market.
  3. Uphold HR policy & governance
    • Ensure strict adherence to local labor laws and regulations, staying informed about legislative changes, and capitalizing on suitable schemes or incentives. Proactively initiate HR and employee engagement projects aimed at boosting overall productivity and morale, including organizing events or implementing initiatives to foster a positive work environment. Take ownership of employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health, implementing policies and practices for a secure and healthy work environment. Adaptability is crucial for handling additional HR tasks based on the organization's specific needs, emphasizing strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years in HR-related management roles.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing HR team and direct reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment, labor laws, and immigration laws in Singapore.
  • Proficient in PC skills, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word). Additional hands-on experience with HRIQ Software is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high levels of confidential information regarding employees with utmost sensitivity.
