About the role

NextWave Partners are currently seeking a Head of Construction to work closely with the Head of Engineering and engineering department to provide technical leadership for offshore activities across a portfolio of Offshore Wind projects across Asia. The role will also focus on supporting the supply chain development across multiple packages including T&I and Construction packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of technical individuals, overseeing their development in alignment with business needs.

  • Keep the teams updated on the latest industry trends and foster an innovative work environment, balancing associated risks.

  • Enable the department to introduce new value-adding initiatives for key stakeholders.

  • Set the strategic direction for the department, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.

  • Coach and mentor the team across multiple locations, supporting the identification of development opportunities.

  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement processes within the responsibility area.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments to maximize business potential along the entire value chain.

  • Attract competent staff, develop a motivated team, and ensure a high level of safety performance for both the team and supported projects.

  • Plan, manage, monitor, and adequately resource all activities associated with the role.


  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, including experience in offshore projects with large teams.

  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

  • Highly motivated and communicative with the ability to support and develop technical specialists.

  • Ability to support and address strategic and complex challenges.
