About the role
NextWave Partners are currently seeking a Head of Construction to work closely with the Head of Engineering and engineering department to provide technical leadership for offshore activities across a portfolio of Offshore Wind projects across Asia. The role will also focus on supporting the supply chain development across multiple packages including T&I and Construction packages.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of technical individuals, overseeing their development in alignment with business needs.
Keep the teams updated on the latest industry trends and foster an innovative work environment, balancing associated risks.
Enable the department to introduce new value-adding initiatives for key stakeholders.
Set the strategic direction for the department, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.
Coach and mentor the team across multiple locations, supporting the identification of development opportunities.
Drive standardization and continuous improvement processes within the responsibility area.
Collaborate closely with other departments to maximize business potential along the entire value chain.
Attract competent staff, develop a motivated team, and ensure a high level of safety performance for both the team and supported projects.
Plan, manage, monitor, and adequately resource all activities associated with the role.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant work experience, including experience in offshore projects with large teams.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Highly motivated and communicative with the ability to support and develop technical specialists.
Ability to support and address strategic and complex challenges.
