NextWave Partners are currently exclusively engaged with a cutting edge International ESG Tech Platform that is helping companies around the world to track their ESG related data, choose their Sustainable Development Goals, and create a path forward to achieve those. The company is growing rapidly with their recent additional investment and is looking for an ESG/Sustainability Specialist to join their team in the US to help them advance the ESG movement based in New York or Washington D.C.
Interface with enterprise customers to help identify their needs and plan a path to achieve those needs.
Assist in use of the software to ensure most effective usage.
Work with clients to ensure proper data collection practices.
Educate the clients on the SASB, TCFD, and GRI Reporting requirements and assist them in meeting those.
Helping customers to plan and optimize the most cost-effective way to net-zero emissions and other targets using their simulation software.
They are looking for individuals who come from a consulting background with ESG and Sustainability Tracking, Goal Setting, and Reporting. A qualified individual should have the following.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in the sustainability space).
4+ years of experience consulting in the ESG/Sustainability space. Particularly, in SASB, TCFD, and GRI reporting.
Must have worked on carbon emissions analysis previously and have strong familiarity with GHG Protocol.
Ideally will have knowledge/experience in one of the following fields: Sustainable Development | Sustainable Finance | Investor Relations | Climate Change | Corporate Governance
Having the SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential is a plus.
Data driven, customer focused, and detail-oriented mindset.
Strong work ethic and sense of ownership over one’s work.
