​NextWave Partners are currently exclusively engaged with a cutting edge International ESG Tech Platform that is helping companies around the world to track their ESG related data, choose their Sustainable Development Goals, and create a path forward to achieve those. The company is growing rapidly with their recent additional investment and is looking for an ESG/Sustainability Specialist to join their team in the US to help them advance the ESG movement based in New York or Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Interface with enterprise customers to help identify their needs and plan a path to achieve those needs.

• Assist in use of the software to ensure most effective usage.

• Work with clients to ensure proper data collection practices.

• Educate the clients on the SASB, TCFD, and GRI Reporting requirements and assist them in meeting those.

• Helping customers to plan and optimize the most cost-effective way to net-zero emissions and other targets using their simulation software.

Requirements

They are looking for individuals who come from a consulting background with ESG and Sustainability Tracking, Goal Setting, and Reporting. A qualified individual should have the following.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in the sustainability space).

• 4+ years of experience consulting in the ESG/Sustainability space. Particularly, in SASB, TCFD, and GRI reporting.

• Must have worked on carbon emissions analysis previously and have strong familiarity with GHG Protocol.

• Ideally will have knowledge/experience in one of the following fields: Sustainable Development | Sustainable Finance | Investor Relations | Climate Change | Corporate Governance

• Having the SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential is a plus.

• Data driven, customer focused, and detail-oriented mindset.

• Strong work ethic and sense of ownership over one’s work.
