About the Role:

Our client is a leading consultancy in the Power Delivery sector within the state of Texas, looking to bring on a Distribution Engineer to their team. The ideal candidate enjoys playing a large part in their community and strives for professional success.

Responsibilities

• Able to be client facing and interact with various engineering firms
• Keep up to date with the evolving technologies, work planning strategies, and design methodologies linked to Electric Distribution Design
• Ability to work on designs for both Overhead and Underground Distribution facilities
• Partner with other departments/teams such as operations, planning, transmission, and project management.
• Desire to train and mentor new staff members
• Possess strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills and able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant electric distribution engineering experience
• Experience with softwares such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Maximo
• Familiarity with the NESC
