About the Role

An AIoT technology company with a mission to solve sustainability challenges, is looking for a Product Architect Director. This position will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle and will be working with cross-functional teams. Candidate should ideally have a combination of business insight, deep understanding of SaaS-based software and proven experience in agile-driven product management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support new and existing products
• Have an understanding of product vision and business needs to determine product requirement and come up with product architectural solutions
• Improve performance, capacity and scalability with development of architectural and design principles
• Team up with Product Manager to plan and execute new product releases
• Clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified products with business management team
• Work with domain, pre-sales, product management and product engineering teams to generate solutions
• Ensure that product development is align with business objectives by maintaining product roadmap and architectural standards
• Define product validation policies to deliver products that meet system and project expectations
• Support production escalations and resolution for customers
• Assist on issues that require technical expertise or complex systems knowledge
• Develop broad knowledge on current and future product features
• Analyse market and customer base to develop market solutions
• Define product requirements that address market opportunities

Requirements and Skills

• At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, or building complex enterprise commercial grade SaaS on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Critical thinking skills and an excellent problem solver with the ability to make quick decisions based on business demands
• Detail-oriented with great organizational skills, comfortable with ambiguity
• Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
• The following experience are good to have:
  • Experience in carbon emission and sustainability reporting standards and frameworks
  • Experience in building greenhouse gas assessment and modelling tools
  • Knowledge of renewable energy certificate, carbon emission credit and other offset mechanisms
