We are looking for a Data Scientist to join an established, forward thinking Ecommerce company. You will be applying a multitude of techniques such as deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to develop solutions to business problems.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving algorithms and have access to a large amount of both structured and unstructured data
• Extract insights from large data sources consisting of complex, unstructured text data
• Development and implementation of text mining, text analytics, and natural language programming algorithms for channel specific purposes
• Support NLP engineers in model development

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field
• Minimum three (3) years of working experience in Data Science
• Demonstrated experience working with natural language processing
• Ability to work in a big data environment
• High level of proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, and Java
• Strong expertise in deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing
• High level of interpersonal skills
