We are working with an international retailer selling high end and luxury goods. The Company sees an increasing amount of data to be processed, together with higher risk of
data privacy breach within the organization, the company is looking for data privacy expert to join their growing data team. The candidate should have a background in data privacy
and data governance, strong business acumen, ability to think critically and solution-focused mindsets. The candidate will also need to exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Being kept up-to-date on the latest Data Privacy laws and regulations to ensure compliance of the organization
• Leads various data privacy initiatives and trainings and offers guidance on data privacy related subjects
• Understands business processes and monitor internal policies on data privacy protection, which includes collection, retention, security, access and correction, transparency, and accuracy of data
• Evaluates, develops, and improves SOPs on data privacy processes
• Support on Data Governance initiatives, establish data privacy in Customer & Employee Data Domain Governance Structure.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experiences in the data privacy fields, with educational backgrounds in Law, Business Administration, or any related disciplines
• Has strong experience in performing data privacy impact and privacy compliance assessments, designing data privacy policies, personal data flow mapping and analysis and implementing privacy tools
• Has extensive knowledge on data protection laws and practices in Hongkong, and other regions, as well as a deep understanding of GDPR
• Must be a critical thinker, who possess outstanding analytical skills, and the ability to think out of the box to provide solutions
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good to have Privacy and data protection certifications (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT)
