The client is a leading omnichannel retailer, with a great digital presence, working the cycle end to end, owning their products in the warehouse all the way to the doorstep. Based in the Singapore HQ, you will be responsible for working with the technical team in Singapore to create a world-class consumer website for Singapore and Southeast Asia. You will also have an opportunity to work with the growth and product team to drive results on the e- commerce platform.

Responsibilities

• In charge of ETL process using a multitude of tools and developing a good infrastructure for the product
• Be a technical leader, able to work well with multiple stakeholders to generate reports and visualizations for business needs
• Engineer Data pipelines using cutting edge tools on Big Data and Cloud stack such as Amazon RedShift and Google Big Query
• Be an expert in transforming structured and unstructured data from various sources and formats
• Be an expert in understanding the business model and designing the infrastructure to accommodate large volume, real time data exaction processes

Requirements

• Having 2+ years of working experience in technical roles, preferably in data engineering / software engineering
• Strong technical background in SQL and Python
• Ideally proficient in Amazon Redshift or Google Big Query
• Someone who is a self-starter and is willing to take on new challenges and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and flexible environment
