Cyber Security Consultant - Penetration Testing - Singapore

About the role:

I am working with an international Pen-Testing business who are looking to build out their APAC capabilities here in Singapore. They offer a range of Cyber Security services and are looking to make additions to their Cyber Security Team as a result.

Role & responsibilities:

• Undertake Threat & Vulnerability assessments, pen-test & security reviews of clients' infrastructure
• Undertake a range of different types penetration testing - network, web application & internal
• Provide support to IT Security work packages in bids and projects
• Engage clients in a consultative manner & provide advisory guidance on the appropriate security solutions for bids & tender proposals
• Perform Security Design review & risk assessment of critical systems
• Interaction with clients, making presentations and briefing customers on requirements and solutions

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-6 years' experience with the following:
  • Conducting assessments & audits
  • Performing vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
  • Managing clients and projects
  • Programming skills is a good to have
  • Application security
  • Cloud security
• Knowledge of major industry standards & frameworks & guidelines
• Excellent client engagement skills
• The ability to explain complex cyber security matters in a non-technical way
• Great communication skills
• Ideally possess a recognised Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or industry certificates: OSCP/CREST CRT, CCT

Due to the nature of the role and the clients they work with, all candidates must be eligible to undergo Security Clearance. Thus, they are unable to work with candidates that require sponsorship.
