An international energy and infrastructure developer are building a gas extraction plant in Sub Saharan Africa and are looking for an experienced, hands-on Construction Director to lead the delivery of this project.

Role & Responsibilities

• Management of Technical and Construction tasks in the Construction of the gas plant
• Defining the employer’s Requirements for the gas plant on an EPC / EPCM basis
• Reviewing plant designs for efficiency and consistency
• Reviewing constructability of design in consultation with contractors
• Evaluation of Tenders and Quotes for Construction and Ancillary Works
• Assisting with Bankable Study and Technical Information required to complete such studies
• Taking a lead with regards to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management
   

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Over 15 years’ experience working with Gas Projects
• Over 5 years’ experience in a management position
• Previous experience delivering a project in Sub-Saharan Africa
• Previous experience managing a project from the Owner’s side
• Fluency in written and spoken English
