About the Role
Are you interested in making an impact - especially within the healthcare and medical industry? We are working with an exciting data digitalization company who are helping to revolutionize the healthcare industry by applying AI and making sure the data processed is standardized. You'll be joining a growing data team to design architecture on various cloud platforms, to enable scalable product deployment.
Roles and responsibilities
Translate business requirements to cloud architecture designs to accommodate various levels of resource usage and scalability
Carry out deployment, maintenance, monitoring and management tasks within the implemented cloud structure
Ensure high level of cloud security and integration of new applications into the cloud environment
Design big data architecture to store, manage and process large volume of structured and unstructured data
Designing cloud-based application deployments based on containerized orchestration & deployment.
Offering training and guidance to all whose roles bring them into contact with the cloud structure.
Designing & implementing logging, monitoring and alert systems to ensure efficient operations of the cloud infrastructure
Working with business clients to understand their needs and to implement the cloud strategies designed to meet those needs.
Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related fields of study
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on working experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure and architect
Have a strong understanding of cloud-based services (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Government Commercial Cloud
Preferably Government Commercial Cloud or Azure/ AWS Solutions Architect certified
Have a good understanding of Linux or Windows operating systems
Have implementation experience in Security, Information, Data and Regulatory Standards ( HIPAA, SOX, NIST, GDPR)
Strong security knowledge over implementation of security controls ( firewall, WAFs, NIDS, HIDS)
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP and DNS.
