About the Role

NextWave is working with a leading offshore wind developer who are developing two landmark projects in Taiwan. They are putting together the core members of their team to deliver these projects, and are looking for an experienced Cable Package Manager to work on the development and delivery of these projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct cable package activities throughout wind farm project phases, ensuring seamless execution and compliance
• Develop technical specifications for cable procurement, assess supplier proposals, and contribute to commercial terms
• Lead contract negotiations, collaborating with legal and commercial teams, managing interfaces with other packages
• Supervise cable suppliers and contractors, representing the project during design, manufacturing, transport, installation, and commissioning
• Monitor project construction works, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, safety, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate inspections, assess and rectify defects during construction, and act as the primary technical contact
• Report progress to the wider project team, champion a safety and quality culture, and lead teams effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering
• Minimum of eight [8] years technical experience in offshore wind cable design, manufacturing and installation
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical transmission, offshore wind cables, and broader infrastructure
• Experience in overseeing concept development, FEED, and detailed design of cables for offshore wind projects
• Due to project interface responsibilities, proficiency in english communication is required
